Baseball Game Preview: Pecos Eagles vs. Monahans Loboes

The Pecos Eagles will square off against the Monahans Loboes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Pecos and five for Monahans.

Pecos came into this matchup off a tough six-run defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Seminole by a score of 8-6 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 20, 2025.

Meanwhile, Monahans lost 15-5 to Andrews on Friday.

Emmos Madrid and Rilan White stepped up to the plate in a big way. Madrid went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while White went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple.

Monahans' defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-1. As for Pecos, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15-2.

Pecos was able to grind out a solid victory over Monahans when the teams last played back in March of 2025, winning 11-7. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Loboes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
