Spotswood is 8-1 against Staunton since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Trailblazers will host the Storm at 5:30 p.m.

Spotswood is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Broadway on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Gobblers. Spotswood's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Staunton brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their defense stepped up to hand Rockbridge County an 8-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Staunton, who have now won nine contests by four goals or more so far this season.

The win snapped Staunton's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-4 record. As for Spotswood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1.
