Softball Recap: Brookville Raiders vs. Brockway Rovers

Brookville came into Monday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Brockway Rovers 16-7. The win was just what Brookville needed coming off of a 14-4 defeat in their prior match.

ALYSSA TOLLINI was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits. TOLLINI was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with a triple, a run, and an RBI.

In other batting news, Brookville let JORDAN DAISLEY and KERSTYN DAVIE loose on the outfield. DAISLEY got on base in three of her five plate appearances with four RBI and two runs, while DAVIE scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was LILY PLYLER, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

The victory got Brookville back to even at 1-1. As for Brockway, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
