Softball Recap: Castlewood Find Success

Castlewood proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Scotland/Menno Trappers 7-5. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trappers, too.

Castlewood's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Scotland/Menno, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Castlewood has already played their next match, a 7-2 win against Wagner on the 12th. As for Scotland/Menno, they will head out to take on Avon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Pirates have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
