Volleyball Recap: Kankakee Valley Takes a Loss

Kankakee Valley lost against Boone Grove back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kougars came up short against the Wolves, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-6, 25-15.

Boone Grove was led to victory by Ryder McCoy and Max Pollnow. McCoy had 13 digs and three aces, while Pollnow had four aces and three digs. Those three digs gave Pollnow a new career-high.

Kankakee Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boone Grove, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Kankakee Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Munster at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Boone Grove, they are taking a road trip to take on Kouts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
