Recap: Tampa Prep Terrapins vs. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes
The Tampa Prep Terrapins had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Bishop McLaughlin Catholic 63-23 on the road on Tuesday. Tampa Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for J'London Bivens, who scored ten points along with six assists and four steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Myheir Session, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Tampa Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
Tampa Prep will take on Tampa Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tampa Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Tampa Prep likes a good challenge.
