Basketball Recap: Plain Dealing Takes a Loss

Plain Dealing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Haynesville Golden Tornado and fell 64-15. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Golden Tornado are ranked 108th).

Plain Dealing's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Haynesville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plain Dealing has already played their next game (against Evangel Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Haynesville will host Lincoln Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Haynesville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
