Softball Preview: Newton Local Indians vs. Ansonia Tigers
The Newton Local Indians are taking a road trip to take on the Ansonia Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Newton Local will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
While Newton Local didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 10-5 win over St. Henry on Monday.
Meanwhile, Ansonia came up short against Marion Local on Monday and fell 10-5.
