Preview: Cordova Blue Devils vs. Cold Springs Eagles
Cordova has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Cold Springs Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Cordova has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Cordova pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Dora 60-55.
Meanwhile, Cold Springs came up short against Southeastern on Thursday and fell 64-53. Cold Springs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cordova has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Cold Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.
Cordova didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cold Springs when the teams last played back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 50-44 win. Does Cordova have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cold Springs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
