Leopold entered their tilt with Scott City on Monday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Rams 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Leopold walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-16.

Leopold was led to victory by Malia VanderMierden and Brenna Beussink. VanderMierden had 13 digs and two aces, while Beussink had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Beussink has posted over her last nine matchups.

They weren't the only good servers: Leopold was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in ten consecutive contests.

Leopold's victory bumped their record up to 18-1-2. As for Scott City, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Looking ahead, Leopold will venture away from home to take on Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Scott City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Charleston on the 30th.
