Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Alamance Stallions vs. North Lincoln Knights

The Southeast Alamance Stallions will challenge the North Lincoln Knights at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Alamance is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games dating back to last season.

North Lincoln better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Southeast Alamance's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when Southeast Alamance really gets things going. The Stallions were the clear victors by a 52-29 margin over Northwood. Fans of the Stallions have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Shaniya Paylor had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Rreanna Johnson, who scored ten points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 79-49, which was the final score in North Lincoln's tilt against North Mecklenburg on Saturday.

Southeast Alamance will have to contain Ally Smith as she made an impact in North Lincoln's last game. She went 10-for-25 to rack up 28 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Reese Burch was another key player, putting up eight points.

Southeast Alamance's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
