Evergreen Park dropped their record down to 12-11 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Tinley Park Titans by a score of 3-1. The Mustangs were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Titans' pitchers proved too tough.

As for Tinley Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games.

For Tinley Park's part, Aubry Haack spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Tinley Park saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Nuskiewicz, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evergreen Park will square off against Providence Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tinley Park, they will take on Reavis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
