Softball Recap: Copper Hills Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Copper Hills can now relate to. They came up short against the Davis Darts on Thursday, falling 14-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Darts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 back in April.

Dannaca Moss made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Sadie Stringam, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Copper Hills and nudges their season record down to 11-14. As for Davis, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-6.

While Copper Hills had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
