Basketball Game Preview: Drew vs. M.L. King Lions

Drew will face off against the M.L. King Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Drew will be strutting in after a win while M.L. King will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Drew against McNair as the squad secured a 67-36 victory. Drew has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, M.L. King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 78-22 defeat at the hands of Pace Academy. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 387th, while the Knights are ranked 140th).

Drew is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points per game. As for M.L. King, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
