Soccer Recap: Easley Comes Up Short

Easley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hillcrest Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hillcrest this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

Easley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Hillcrest, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Easley is set to take on their familiar foe Mauldin at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hillcrest will face off against rival Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
