Volleyball Recap: Cobden Find Success

Cobden won the last time they faced Dongola and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Appleknockers came out on top against the Demons by a score of 2-0.

The victory didn't come easy: Dongola scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21.

Alivia Kilpatrick paced Cobden's offense, picking up six kills. Kilpatrick got some help from Amelia Long and her nine assists. Mallory Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cobden's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Dongola, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
