Basketball Recap: Winnebago Comes Up Short

If Winnebago was feeling good fresh off their 77-43 takedown of Walthill last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Winnebago Indians fell just short of the Pender Pendragons by a score of 47-45 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Pendragons: they've now lost three in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Winnebago fell to 2-1. As for Pender, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Winnebago will host Omaha Nation at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pender, they will head out to challenge Lutheran-Northeast on Thursday.
