Basketball Recap: Khalil Daniels' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Harvest Prep over Pickerington Central

On Tuesday, the Harvest Prep Warriors were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 67-61 to the Pickerington Central Tigers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Khalil Daniels, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most boards Daniels has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Roddy, who went 6 for 11 en route to 17 points and five rebounds.

Harvest Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Pickerington Central, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Harvest Prep has already played their next match (against Hiland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pickerington Central will square off against Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pickerington Central is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
