Soccer Recap: Vista Ridge Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Vista Ridge Rangers came up short against the Round Rock Westwood Warriors and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Warriors are ranked 49th).

Lily Vandiver and Leah Drake scored both of Vista Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Vista Ridge and nudges their season record down to 10-8-3. As for Round Rock Westwood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3-3.

Vista Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Round Rock Westwood, they will look to defend their home pitch on March 21st against Dripping Springs at 7:30 p.m.
