D.H. Conley faced J.H. Rose in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Vikings never let the Rampants get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Tucker Anderson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ethan Stewart, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Winfield, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

D.H. Conley pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for J.H. Rose, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3.

Looking ahead, D.H. Conley will head out to challenge Northern Nash at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for J.H. Rose, they will welcome Bloom-Carroll at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
