Basketball Recap: Pattonsburg's Losing Streak Snapped at Nine Games

Pattonsburg had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the DeKalb Tigers, posting a 62-30 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their 20-point performance the contest before.

Pattonsburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-10. As for DeKalb, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Pattonsburg has already played their next game (against Albany), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. DeKalb will venture away from home to face off against Rock Port at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rock Port knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully DeKalb likes a good challenge.
