Basketball Recap: Ada-Borup Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Ada-Borup had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on the Win-E-Mac Patriots with a sharp 76-52 victory. With the Cougars ahead 48-28 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Ada-Borup got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cadyn Dahl out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Dahl's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Larson, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds.

Ada-Borup's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Win-E-Mac, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Ada-Borup will head out to take on Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Win-E-Mac, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Park-Audubon at 7:30 p.m. Win-E-Mac is facing Lake Park-Audubon at the right time seeing as Lake Park-Audubon is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
