Basketball Recap: Darlington Beats Cuba City for Their Eighth Straight Win

With a playoff win on the line, Darlington rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Cuba City Cubans as they made off with a 64-42 victory. The Redbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the eighth in a row for Darlington, bringing their record for this year to 21-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.9 points. As for Cuba City, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.

Looking ahead, Darlington will challenge Mineral Point on Thursday. Mineral Point knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Darlington likes a good challenge. Cuba City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
