Soccer Recap: Riverside Triumphs

Riverside kept a clean sheet against Coon Rapids-Bayard on Saturday. They came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 2-0. That's two games straight that Riverside have won by exactly two goals.

Riverside has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Riverside didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Glidden-Ralston on the 3rd. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, they will head out to square off against Gilbert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
