Softball Recap: Rio Grande Wins Going Away Against East Mountain

Rio Grande won the last time they faced East Mountain and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Ravens were the clear victors by a 24-4 margin over the Timberwolves. The match marked the Ravens' most dominant victory of the season.

Alyssa Maes was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Ceanna Sanchez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Rio Grande always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .912. They are 8-4 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
