Volleyball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Xavier Saints. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Saints from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Xavier, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Washington has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Oskaloosa on the 6th. As for Xavier, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Davenport Central on the 6th.
