Baseball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

Saline hit Huron with a four-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The River Rats came up short against the Hornets, falling 11-1. The River Rats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Huron saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jon Boerst, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Huron's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Saline, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.
