Basketball Recap: Brinkley's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Brinkley came into Tuesday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 62-41 margin over the Clarendon Lions on Tuesday. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 42-37 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Brinkley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Clarendon, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brinkley will square off against Dermott at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dermott will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Brinkley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clarendon, they will head out to square off against Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Clarendon and five for Bradford.
