Basketball Recap: Greece Olympia Takes a Loss

Greece Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 64-46 fall against the Greece Odyssey Leopards. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 84-71 back in December of 2024.

Greece Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Greece Odyssey, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-7.

Greece Olympia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-55 victory against Brighton on the 27th. As for Greece Odyssey, they will head out to face off against Vertus at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
