Upper Perkiomen hadn't done well against Methacton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Warriors. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 13-2 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Upper Perkiomen let Grayson Sabo and Ben Godshall run wild. Sabo went 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles, while Godshall went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs. Jordin Dice was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Upper Perkiomen's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Methacton, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.

Upper Perkiomen and Methacton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Indians (ranked 128th) will meet Phoenixville (ranked 371st) at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Methacton will face off against Upper Merion Area at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (108 vs. 270).
