Pace came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tate Aggies 30-8. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Patriots' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Aggies are ranked 135th).

Special teams played a big role in the game for Pace, adding 12 points to the final score. All those points came courtesy of Caleb Nelson: he added nine points with three field goals and another three kicking extra points.

Pace's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Tate, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Pace didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-12 victory against Pine Forest on the 17th. As for Tate, they have also already played their next matchup, a 24-21 win against Booker T. Washington on the 17th.
