Softball Recap: Phil Campbell Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Phil Campbell challenged Tharptown on Friday. The Phil Campbell Bobcats took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tharptown Wildcats. The loss was the Bobcats' first of the season.

Phil Campbell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Siddalee Rogers, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Phil Campbell fell to 2-1. As for Tharptown, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4.

Phil Campbell didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 loss against Cherokee on the 21st. Tharptown has also already played their next contest (against Sheffield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
