Volleyball Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

West Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the New Hope Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Green Wave of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for New Hope, their win bumped their record up to 7-19.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. West Point will take on rival Pontotoc at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Hope is set to challenge their familiar foe Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
