Football Recap: East Bay Comes Up Short on the Road Against Strawberry Crest + How To Watch

East Bay had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Strawberry Crest Chargers on Friday, falling 26-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 24-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Omar Germany threw for 83 yards on six of 13 attempts. Tykhirey Jones was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Gavin Altman rushed for 30 yards.

The critical scores for Strawberry Crest came from Jose Aponte and Hunter Hall.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Bay will square off against Hillsborough at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Strawberry Crest, they will face off against Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
