Baseball Game Preview: Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets vs. Victor Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Rush-Henrietta will face off against Victor. The Royal Comets will take on the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Rush-Henrietta couldn't beat Victor on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Royal Comets took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. The Royal Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matthew Turner made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Logan Johnson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Victor and bumps their season record up to 5-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Rush-Henrietta, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
