Softball Recap: Northwood Temple Academy Finds Home Field Redemption Against Neuse Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Northwood Temple Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Neuse Christian Academy Lions with a sharp 11-4 victory on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lexi Walters made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. Walters was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
