Soccer Game Preview: Columbia River vs. Mark Morris

The Rapids will face off against the Monarchs at 2:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Columbia River is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Camas just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Monday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Columbia River happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 11th.

Meanwhile, Mark Morris has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell just short of Kelso by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Columbia River's draw makes their record 7-1-1 this season. As for Mark Morris, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7-3.

Columbia River took their victory against Mark Morris in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rapids since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
