Softball Recap: Friday's Win Is St. Clair County's Third in Last Four Outings

St. Clair County won the last time they faced Gulf Shores and things went their way on Friday too. The Fighting Saints walked away with a 15-10 victory over the Dolphins.

Aniyah Dean was incredible, going 3-for-4 with seven RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carman Garner, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

St. Clair County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Gulf Shores, their loss dropped their record down to 18-13-1.

St. Clair County has already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Pell City on the 29th. As for Gulf Shores, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Plainview on the 29th.
