Baseball Recap: Livonia Takes a Loss

If Livonia was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of White Castle last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Livonia fell 4-1 to the Beau Chene Gators on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Livonia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenny Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Livonia has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10-1 record this season. Beau Chene's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.

While Livonia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
