Beckman picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the South Hills Huskies 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Beckman's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for South Hills, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6.

Coming up, Beckman will be playing in front of their home fans against South at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Hills, they will head out to take on Newport Harbor at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
