Football Recap: Rocky Bayou Christian Piles Up the Points Against Bishop Snyder

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rocky Bayou Christian walked away with it. They blew past the Bishop Snyder Cardinals, posting a 45-12 victory. Considering the Knights have won four matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bishop Snyder's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Matthew Biroshik and Brecken Wright. Biroshik picked up 96 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Wright threw for 107 yards and one TD.

The win was the fourth in a row for Rocky Bayou Christian, bringing their record up to 4-5. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.3 points over those games. As for Bishop Snyder, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Rocky Bayou Christian will challenge Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Snyder does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
