Volleyball Recap: Honeoye Takes a Loss

Honeoye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Honeoye's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Honeoye will welcome Palmyra-Macedon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they will host Livonia at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
