Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Calvary Christian). In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 66-65 victory over the Xavier Academy Falcons.

Calvary Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Xavier Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Calvary Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against North Tampa Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will be up against the Titans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Xavier Academy, they and Grace Christian Academy will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
