Soccer Game Preview: Valencia vs. Fullerton

The Valencia Tigers will head out to face off against the Fullerton Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fullerton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Valencia, who comes in off a win.

Valencia took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Tustin. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Tillers are ranked 910th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Fullerton was not quite Godinez Fundamental's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Grizzlies.

Fullerton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Valencia, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4-3.
