Munford won the last time they faced Central of Clay County and things went their way on Monday too. The Munford Lions had just enough and edged out the Central of Clay County Volunteers 3-2.

Munford pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games.
