While Thursday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Alexander Quezada. He wasn't messing around on Thursday, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. The pitching appearance was his seventh straight with two or fewer walks.
