Basketball Recap: Arlington Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Arlington won the last time they faced Cascade, and Leyton Martin did his part to make sure it happened again. The Arlington Eagles blew past the Cascade Bruins 71-37 on Friday thanks in part to Martin, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 22 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. The contest was his 14th in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Maveric Vaden, who posted 14 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Arlington is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game. As for Cascade, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Arlington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-49 victory against Lake Stevens on the 14th. Cascade has also already played their next contest, a 72-25 loss against Glacier Peak on the 14th.
