Softball Recap: Calhoun County Saints vs. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans

Calhoun County was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler on Tuesday. The Calhoun County Saints blew past the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans 24-8. The Saints have beaten the Trojans the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Marissa Craven looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That one hit allowed gave her a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Calhoun County got a massive performance out of Alexa Tamayo, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4.
