Volleyball Recap: Peyton Comes Up Short

Peyton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Cedaredge Bruins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Peyton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cedaredge, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Peyton will be taking part in a tournament against Clear Creek at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cedaredge, they will face off against Gilpin County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
