The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hallsville, who took down 158th ranked Hallsville, 21-0.
Eldon moved up to 149 from 185 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Tri-County. A 21-0 win over the Indians helped the Mustangs improve their standing.
Osage's dynamic duo of Bo Dean and Collin Samuelson proved tough for California to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dean threw for 59 yards and Samuelson had 26 yards receiving. Justin Heiser helped Osage's passing attack out by catching two balls for 16 yards.
Johnathan Cunningham was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 30 carries, he ran for 121 yards as Versailles fell to the Pintos. Dodge Andersen also contributed to the rushing game with 55 yards on the ground.
Osage's Dean and Dylan Jeffries have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dean has thrown for 1562 yards this season, while Jeffries, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 40 catches for 696 yards. Hallsville's Dalton Lindsay leads the league in rushing yards with 899.
A big matchup in Tri-County this week will be when Warsaw takes on California. At the moment, the Wildcats are in sixth, while Marty Albertson's team is in first.
There should be lots of points scored when Devin Johnson's team and Dan Henderson's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Indians comes in having scored 168 this season, while the Indians have scored 219. Hallsville scored 0 points last week as it lost to Eldon.
The Pintos extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Osage, 61-12. The win marks seventh in a row for the California.
